Solis Tractor is built with 3 Cylinder Mitsubishi Stage V engine whereas, Kubota in its models BX231 and BX261 using Diesel engines. Mitsubishi is known for its engine robust performance. In terms of Rated RPM Solis tractor gives 24 HP power at 2700 RPM, Kubota BX231 gives 23 HP at 3200 RPM and Kubota BX261 gives 25 HP at 3200 RPM. However, Solis is having high torque compare to all Kubota models. This gives Solis tractor added advantage as you can work longer with Solis Tractors. Below is the engine rating

In linkage section Solis tractor offers more option e.g. CAT 1 & CAT 1N implements can be attached to Solis, whereas in case of Kubota BX231 and BX261 only CAT 1 implements can be attached. Lifting capacity ranges from 500 – 970 Kg.

If we talk about style then Solis is most beautifully & ergonomically designed tractor. It has projector head lamps & sloppy hood which gives it very beautiful look & operator area is also designed keeping the customer convenience in mind. While Kubota in all of its models is following the traditional route in terms of look & ergonomics

On transmission front all three tractors are similar as all three tractors are providing HST Transmission. Max speed of Solis H26 is 21 kmph which is higher than Kubota BX231 and BX261 i.e 13.5 kmph.

Dimensionally all the tractors are at par to each other, some has high ground clearance,some has high wheelbase. Track width of Solis is much higher than the other two brands.

Let’s talk about the complete tractor package, Solis H26 is pretty renowned model among its category, spare parts are easy to find & dealers are also good in solving the problem for Kubota also you will get the same experience but there is huge difference in tractor pricing i.e. Solis is 20-25% cheaper to Kubota Models. While Solis & Kubota are similar in performance but due to huge price difference we are giving 1 star extra to Solis compare to Kubota BX231 and BX261.

VERDICT
Solis misses out on a greater RPM with a lesser of 2700 RPM whereas Kubota variants win this easily with a 3200 RPM score. Also, the Hydraulic Pump Flow for Solis is 18 LPM as compared to the Kubota variants that have 24 LPM. Although Solis H26 and Kubota BX231 and BX261 come neck to neck when compared purely based on performance, Solis appears to lead this race based on price as it is 20-25% lesser. Both brands have their strengths and unique selling propositions, but one has to vary about the Post Sales Service as it factors in the overall experience and performance of the tractor.
